Welcome to the Faerie Writers Guild, a group that shares writing, provides feedback on one another’s drafts and supports the experience of writing. We’re a writing cooperative equally owned by all who participate.
Our group is focused on writing to or from the queer experience to popular audiences. We’re open to many genres and intersections under this general umbrella. We workshop up to two drafts at each meeting. There is a five-page, double-spaced limit for each draft. To cultivate thriving community, we use the Writers’ Loft guide for providing feedback.
We encourage guild members to publish final drafts with RFD Magazine, on the Three Souls blog and other publications concerned with queer liberation. We work to curate places where guild members can publish.
Dates: Jan. 31, Feb. 28, March 28, April 25, May 30, June 27, July 25, Aug. 29, Sept. 26, Oct. 31, Nov. 28, and Dec. 26
